Reviews/Notes:

Øresund Space Collective (ØSC), formed in 2004, is a totally improvising Scandinavian space rock band and has been releasing albums since 2006. The band has played concerts & festivals all over Europe. Their music is quite diverse and influenced by the ever-changing line up in the collective.
'Ode To A Black Hole' was originally released in May 2016 on CD and Vinyl. This new edition is a 54min film of the band playing the music live in the studio.
It was filmed by Sabine with one stationary camera and one handheld camera. Jonathan made the mix of the two cameras and added some cool effects and colourations.
It is quite a journey. In 2024 Dr Space made a 5.1 mix of the original audio to create quite the aural experience for those that have 5.1 systems.
'Ode To A Black Hole' is a totally unique piece of ØSC music and they have never before recorded a piece quite like it.
It is very inspired by listening to the UK band, BONG, the morning before heading over to the studio. It is a very slow
evolving piece of music with synth drones, violin, pedal steel, minimal bass and slow emotional drums. After about
40mins the piece becomes quite heavy ...
