Øresund Space Collective (ØSC) is a totally improvised Scandinavian space rock band. The band has been releasing albums since 2006 and this is the bands 34th release.
The band has played all over Europe and many festivals. Their music is quite diverse and influenced by the ever changing line up in the collective.
This is the 3rd full length record from the amazing studio sessions that lead to the ‘Hallucinations Inside The Oracle’ and ‘Kybalion’ records.
These 5 tracks are hardly outtakes though .... and show yet another side of the creative force that entered into the studio for 3 days in Nov 2016.
Afrobeat inspiration, Miles Davis surfaces again, Tangerine Dream and some just psychedelic rock!

This is about as Prog Rock as the band has ever been with the track taking many different musical journeys over the 3 album sides.
Side D (Descent To Reality) of the vinyl contains a full length version (CD contains an edit) that is a unique mixture of Indian raga and space music with just synthesizer, sitar, violin, bass and drums.

This was the 4th album (on CD only) by the completely improvised space rock band from the Øresund region in Scandinavia. It was originally released on the Sulatron label back in 2008.
The music on this CD was recorded at the Black Tornado Studios during the same sessions as the infamous “The Black Tomato” CD.
It was also mixed by Grand Master Henrik Udd (just won an award in 2017 for best heavy metal producer!!). Dave (Sula) took his mixes and turned it into a 70 min psychedelic music collage. 
The music on this LP is meant to take the listener on a musical journey in sound and space. Leave your normal life behind, close your eyes and fly into the unknown reaches of your mind.
The music is meant to get “Inside your Head” and give you a pleasureful and unique listening experience. One beautiful thing about the music and the trip is that it is not predictable. You don’t know where it is going or what you will hear. You just go with the flow of the band.
Sula did a brilliant job of placing the tracks in a perfect order for a nice psychedelic flow and creating a unique segue way between the tracks.
We think all people who like instrumental psychedelic music, will love this one.
As a bonus, the vinyl contains one totally unreleased track that has never been heard before.

Øresund Space Collective is one of the pioneers of Psychedelic Space Rock genre. This album is devoted to the mysteries and principles of the universe that explored

Reviews / Notes:
In November 2017, Øresund Space Collective and Black Moon Circle played a show in Trondheim / Norway, called ‘Freak Out In The Fjord’, which also featured the local band Red Mountains.
The next day they were booked into the excellent Øra Studio, one of the best in Trondheim, for a jam session.
It took a few hours to set up all the gear (2 guitar set ups, 2 bass set ups, 3 drums kits (yes, 3!), modular synth, Fender Rhodes and Oberheim synth and ØSC & BMC were ready to go.
Four jams were recorded ranging from Miles Davis inspired (Afterglow) to Grateful Dead (Dinner) to heavy space rock (Freak Out).
It is a hell of a 2hr musical journey!
